LED Phototherapy or light emitting diode therapy, is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light, including red and blue. NASA originally developed it for plant growth experiments on shuttle missions and later found it to have promise for wound treatment. The use of red or blue light frequencies based on the skincare concern. Red is primarily used for anti-aging, while blue is used for acne treatment

What to Expect
Allow plenty of time for your Session; arrive 10 minutes early to allow yourself time to relax. If it is your first time at the skin lounge, you’ll be asked to complete a pre-treatment health questionnaire.
Your aesthetician will guide you to your treatment room and make sure you feel comfortable. During your consultation, the aesthetician will first analyse your body type in order to design the best suited treatment. Products used in the process will depend on your skin type.
The aesthetician will explain the proposed treatment and will show you all the different probes and machines that will be used throughout your treatment. Please ask the aesthetician about the LED mini devices that can be used at home for regular maintenance in between appointments.
